SkipEye ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information through our mobile application (the "App"), web application, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use our Services.

Data Ownership

• Company-owned data: All data collected through the SkipEye app belongs to the company that has contracted for the SkipEye service, not to individual employees who use the app.
• Employee role: Employees using the app are acting as representatives of their company when collecting and submitting data.
• Personal devices: When employees use personal devices to access the app, they are still collecting data on behalf of their employer. No personal data of the employee beyond what is necessary for authentication is stored.
• Data rights: The company, not individual employees, has rights to access, modify, or request deletion of data collected through the app.
• Primary relationship: SkipEye's relationship is primarily with the contracting company rather than with individual employees who use the app.

Information We Collect

Information Provided at Registration

We provide login credentials to your company upon registration. These credentials include a company-specific authentication identifier and password. The App itself does not collect additional personal information during the registration process.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we may automatically collect:

Data Type	Purpose
Precise Location	To accurately record job positions for skip deliveries and collections. Collected only when the App is in use.
Images	To document skip deliveries and collections. Captured via device camera with your permission.
Usage Information	Features used and time spent on the App to improve our Services.
Device Tokens	Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver push notifications for job assignments.

We do not collect device-specific information such as your device model, operating system version, or other hardware identifiers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
• Process and record skip deliveries and collections
• Generate a map view of jobs for operational oversight
• Send push notifications for new job assignments
• Respond to your requests or inquiries
• Monitor and analyse usage patterns and trends

Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage). We implement measures designed to protect your information:

• All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
• We follow Firebase's best practices for database security
• Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only
• Authentication is handled securely via Firebase Authentication

Data Retention

By default, we retain your data for a period of 3 months, after which it is automatically deleted from our systems. Longer retention periods are available for companies that require extended data access for analytical purposes (additional fees may apply).

Sharing of Information

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties for their commercial purposes.

We may disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With your consent
• To comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process
• To protect the rights and property of SkipEye, our agents, customers, and others

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may process data:

• Google Firebase - Authentication, database, storage, and push notifications
• Google Maps/Geocoding - Address lookup and mapping

Your Rights and Choices

As our service is primarily provided to businesses, the rights described below are generally exercised by the company that has contracted with SkipEye:

• Access and Correction: Companies may request access to their information or ask us to correct inaccurate information by contacting us.
• Deletion: Companies may request deletion of their data by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
• Location Information: Users can control the App's access to their device's location in their device settings. However, disabling location access will affect the functionality of certain features of the App.
• Camera: Users can revoke access to their camera through their device settings at any time, though this will limit the ability to document skip deliveries with images.
• Push Notifications: Users can disable push notifications through their device settings.

Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data:

1. Employees: Contact your company administrator, who can delete your data directly
2. Companies: Contact us at info@skipeye.com
3. Former employees: Visit our Data Deletion Request page

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Note that data is also automatically deleted after 3 months by default.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you are resident. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those of your country. By using our Services, you consent to this transfer, storing, and processing.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, as SkipEye does not sell personal information and is designed for business use only, most provisions of the CCPA may not apply.

GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legal basis for processing your information is the performance of our contract with your employer.

Under the GDPR, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the App prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.
